Just beginning. Your child is starting to show this skill with help or guidance, but doesn't do it independently yet.
Developing. Your child can do this sometimes or with reminders, but isn't fully confident yet.
Confident. Your child does this independently and consistently — they've got it!
The skills below are the goals for the grade your child is in or starting — they represent what your child will know by the end of the year. It's completely normal for them not to know all of this yet! Rate honestly based on where they are today, and we'll recommend the right starting point.
